North America has always been a popular location for aspiring pilots from around the world to do flight training, and for good reason. STEPS TO BECOMING AN AIRLINE PILOT

Once an individual as decided to become an airline pilot, he or she must first decide upon a training program. HM Aviation offers a first class training program which prepares the student for flight training abroad before leaving India. Although it is an exciting experience to travel to another country for flight training, it is best to leave prepared.

Nice in the host country, the first training an individual will undertake is the Private Pilot License. This is where the individual learns to fly an aircraft. The candidate must also complete ground school and a written exam in addition to a flight test. The Private Pilot License completes the first step of the training. This license gives the holder the privilege of flying an aircraft and passengers, but does not give the holder the privilege of earning a salary while flying.

COMMERCIAL PILOT TRAINING

The first step one has to becoming a professional pilot is in obtaining a Private Pilot License. This gives the holder the privilege of flying for pleasure, but not for a salary.

Once one has obtained their Private Pilot License, they can train for their Commercial Pilot License. Often, the first step will be to get a night rating. Advanced training such as cross-country flying/navigation, instrument flying and emergency procedures will all be covered. In most countries, the candidate must have acquired at least 200 hours flight experience to obtain the Commercial Pilot License. The student must also complete 80 hours of ground school in subjects such as: air law, theory of flight, meteorology, flight operations, aircraft engines and crew resource management.
